ODIMM launches a Call for grants exclusively dedicated to women and migrants and/or first-degree relatives who own a rural business and want to digitalise it. Companies operating in regions other than Chisinau have the chance to access financial support of up to RON 200 thousand by means of The ‘Digitalisation Support Tool’.

Award of financial support in the form of a Grant it will be offered for the purchase of equipment and software to innovate and introduce new technologies in the context of the digitalisation of HMEs and to eliminate/minimise risks imposed by the market. The value of the financial support in the form of a Grant shall constitute up to 90 % of the amount of the investment project, but not more than 200 thousand lei/per beneficiary, and the beneficiary undertaking shall make an own financial contribution of at least 10 % of the amount of the investment project.

Destination of financial resources awarded in the form of a Grant:

• Consulting on the specific steps needed to implement the software solutions and equipment needed to digitalise the processes in the enterprise (maximum 5 % of the total investment value);

• New technological equipment, systems, machines, machinery and working tools necessary for the digitalisation, innovation and modernisation of the operational process;

• Tailor-made software solutions specifically developed for the enterprise, web pages, online shops, etc. (intellectual property for the developed software must become the property of the grant applicant). For the Grant component, the request for promotion will not exceed 10 % of the investment project (promotion, SEO optimisation, SMM, social media setting).

In order to participate in the competition, the company will meet the following criteria:

a) It is classified as a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise under the conditions of Law No 179 of 21.7.2016;

b) The business is located in the countryside * (mandatory);

c) Created and managed by the migrant worker and/or his/her first-degree relative or created and managed by the woman (s) (founder (s), co-founder (s) with another lady, associates, manager), citizen of the Republic of Moldova.

d) The Company has so far not received non-repayable financial support from the Delegation of the European Union in an amount exceeding EUR 23 500.

* Rural shall be considered as all regions of the Republic of Moldova apart from mild. Chisinau
