Application deadline for the second Call for projects under the Women in Business Programme extended to 20 June
As a reminder, women who manage a company for up to 2 years can participate in the Grant Component. The maximum grant amount will constitute RON 165 thousand, of which RON 110 thousand is for investment in the purchase of equipment and the remaining RON 55 thousand for business development services: research, consultancy and promotion.
Priority under the Programme shall be given to business: innovative and exportable, creative industry, agri-tourism and crafts, manufacturing, information technology and communication, non-agricultural in rural areas, not covered by the eligibility criteria for support granted by the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture, companies offering services/products to large companies.
The pilot programme “Women in Business” was launched in autumn 2016 and will be implemented over 3 years. RON 51.5 million will be allocated from the state budget. This government initiative aims to promote economic and social ability in rural areas by reducing gender inequality, increasing and developing business, changing the perception of innovation, increasing access to modern resources, services and technologies.
