ODIMM, in partnership with UN Women Moldova and the support of the Government of Japan, implemented the project “Responding to the urgent needs of women and girls in marginalised and vulnerable situations, exacerbated by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Republic of Moldova, by supporting women entrepreneurs from these vulnerable groups”.

This project provided enormous support to the SME sector affected by the crisis by strengthening the resilience and encouraging women in the regions to realise their entrepreneurial potential. This gave hundreds of women the chance to improve their entrepreneurial knowledge and 42 were financially supported to start their own business.
